 THE COURSE

 

There are millions of kilometers of offshore oil and gas pipelines around the world. As the industry expands there are still open opportunity and chance in the pipeline offshore project. To know what kind of pipeline offshore project it can be explain by how the contractor doing planning and executing for pipeline project offshore. There is an increasing need for full appreciation of the planning of pipelines offshore, additionally, many staff in the pipeline industry have not received basic knowledge of pipeline offshore, and some staff are only exposed to other  specialized areas. This course is a formal introduction to pipeline offshore project.

 

 

COURSE OBJECTIVES

 

Training will provide to increase knowledge regarding to nature of Pipeline Offshore Project. Participant shall obtain information regarding how to plan and execute Pipeline Offshore Project.

 

The course shall explain:

 

-          How to prepare pipeline project in general.

-          How to use working barge, material barge and tug boat to support pipe laying work.

-          How to develop schedule delivery pipe material match with the availability of working barge,

-          How to lay pipe and construction methodology

-          How to weld pipe material on the working barge

-          How to conduct quality control of pipe line

-          How to arrange personnel on the working barge

-          How to manage barge and vessel

-          How to conduct safety and risk assessment

-          How to insure al the work

 

Interactive presentation and best practice discussion as the learning and sharing method will delivered by facilitator to help participant understood and able to apply they knowledge easily.
